We were trying to debug this issues with sparkiegeek too, and we have had inconclusive test results. Where the same kernel with/without power attached behaved differently and did/didn't come back from suspend.
When testing v5.13 kernel on jammy, could you please confirm that suspend/resume works in both cases 1) power attached and charging 2) power not attached Similarly, when trying to build v5.13/v5.14 kernels with a more recent jammy kernel config we seemed to have been hitting suspend/resume failure more often. So I am hoping that we can figure out the kernel config differences that is causing this behavior regression. It always helps to use fwupdate manager to install all available firmware upgrades. In general, these are likely to have multiple security vulnerability and stability fixes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967721 Title: Laptop never resuming from standby Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On a Lenovo Thinkpad X260 with 22.04 and 5.15.0-23-generic kernel, after suspending the laptop, it's never possible to wake it up. Neither keyboard nor power button work, only way is to long-press to force poweroff and restart. This did not happen with 21.10.
