The fan does not work in either the current version of ubuntu or
previous (focal fossa). it was working a few months ago, so this may be
new to this kernel, i didn't discover when it stopped working directly
:(
symptoms: gets very hot. no fan. eventually blackscreens while the power
remains on. `sensors-detect` eventually outputs:
