Public bug reported:

uname: Linux gcoakes-ROG-Zephyrus-G14-GA402RJ-GA402RJ 5.17.0-1015-oem
#16-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 8 19:09:19 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64
GNU/Linux

The pwm fan metrics appear to be incorrect for AMD RX6700S (VID/DID:
1002:73ef). I suspect the issue is corrected in the mainline kernel with
the merge of 396beb91a9eb86cbfa404e4220cca8f3ada70777. What's the policy
on backporting changes from upstream, and is it possible to have this
one backported?

Sorry if this was the incorrect place to report/discuss this issue.
