I just experienced a UI freeze (no keyboard nor mouse answer) Not sure if this is related to the new kernel though I'll report again if it reproduces

Apparently the CPU is running high, because when I return to my laptop, it is very hot and the fan is turning full speed. When I reopen the lid the system does not resume. Mouse and keyboard are not active. The only way out is to switch off the laptop.
