Bug description:
Insufficient or ambiguous logging messages in the platform-specific
PCI support layer makes it unnecessarily hard to service client
issues. This feature should improve the logging to a point where it is
easier to provide a substantial level of support based on logs as
collected by dbginfo.sh.
