Title:

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm running Ubuntu saucy, with the latest updates. kernel 3.11.0-18.
  alx driver version B18081BDFB465ACD502D031.

My motherboard is an ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer. lspci shows the
  ethernet chipset as:

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2200 Gigabit

The driver seems to function correctly, but ifconfig (and all network
monitoring utilities) do not show a packet count.
