Title:
  STONEY not supported in kfd

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I'm running lubuntu 23.10 (Mantic Minotaur) on an HP Chromebook 11A G8
EE, board name 'BARLA', using the current MrChromebox BIOS.

The thing takes ages (+3 min.) to cold boot and play any video. (Plus
there's no sound from the internal speakers, which I knew about,
separate issue, just noting that here for posterity. I pair with a
Bluetooth headset that works fine.) On boot, before the splash screen,
I see in this order, a soft lockup error, the error in the title of
this post, and errors about the audio.

  From journalctl:

  Nov 14 09:33:01 uname-barla kernel: watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck
for 26s! [(udev-worker):115]
Nov 14 09:33:01 uname-barla kernel: [drm] initializing kernel modesetting
