This is actually no longer happening on my machine with more recent kernels (e.g. 6.8.0-41 at the moment). I also never used a vendor kernel.

This usually leads to a reboot, and more rarely to a hang that requires forcing a power off. I don't recall this being the case with kernel 6.5 in Mantic. How to reproduce: * suspend the laptop (systemctl suspend, via the Gnome GUI, closing the lid, method doesn't matter) * resume * repeat about 10 times A quick look at kernel logs doesn't show any kernel panic so perhaps the issue happens too early in the resume process for dmesg to be updated.
