Reverting to the previous kernel restored functionality.
UEFI Safe mode is OFF
xrandr -q says:

axis) 0mm x 0mm
1920x1080 60.00*+
(no HDMI device, no alternative resolutions, "None" is strange)
nmcli dev says:

(no wifi device)
