Title:
Can't connect to hidden wifi networks with RTL8852AE since kernel 6.2
Status in linux-signed-hwe-6.2 package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Hello,
I've just discovered a regression after updating my ubuntu 22.04 to
kernel 6.2.0-26-generic.
Since then it's been impossible to connect to a wifi with a hidden
SSID.
When I reboot to the previous kernel version (5.19.0-50-generic
#50-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Jul 10 18:24:29 UTC 2023 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) all is working fine.
My wifi card :
02:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8852AE
802.11ax PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
My router : Orange Livebox 5
Configured in Wifi 5 with hidden network.
Could you have a look ?
Thanks for your help.
