Title:
TIPC module is not loaded but can't modprobe tipc

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
Running the Python development branch (3.3) test suite on Natty for
ARM (i.MX53 QSB) results in two test_socket failures. I'll report
those separately, but during the run of test_socket, I see the
  following message on the console:

TIPC module is not loaded, please 'sudo modprobe tipc'

  However, you cannot modprobe tipc:

  % sudo modprobe tipc
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.35.3-998-ga1cd8a7/modules.dep: No such
file or directory

I don't know whether this is related to bug 669500 and I haven't yet upgraded
the machine to Oneiric.
