No video output from Ubuntu Desktop ARM Images on my Pandaboard to my
DVI monitor

Bug description:
Ubuntu Desktop precise images do not boot on my Pandaboard
Ubuntu Server precise image do boot. Ubuntu Desktop oneiric image
(ubuntu-11.10-preinstalled-desktop-armel+omap4.img.gz) boots fine.
The image I am using is precise-preinstalled-desktop-
armhf+omap4.img.gz from march 15th. I have the same problem with
ubuntu-12.04-beta1-preinstalled-desktop-armhf+omap4.img.gz and
precise-preinstalled-desktop-armel+omap4.img.gz from Feb 1st also have
problems.
validation-19102011.img from ti.com's GForge site works fine.
I have tried changing the SD card, this results in no difference.
