Title:
  black screen in the login screen

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  When I start the machine I get to the login screen except that it is
  black but the mouse shows that there is a text field in the middle of
  the screen. If I go to a terminal and I'll be back in the GUI, I have
  no mouse interface is frozen and I see letters and numbers on a purple
  background in a very basic resolution.
