Thanks for testing, it seems like it's an upstream introduced regression. Were you able to run the camera properly on Oracular (Ubuntu 6.11 kernel) or in Noble (Ubuntu 6.8 kernel)? Are you connecting the webcam directly into the laptop or are you using some kind of docking station?
