Title:
Upgrade to linux-image-6.14.0-24-generic kernel panic on bad initramfs
  that can't handle encrypted partitions

Status in linux-hwe-6.14 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
linux-image-6.14.0-24-generic was installed and it fails on boot with
kernel panic since it can't find partition (0.0) and it never asks for
the dmcrypt password for the root partition.

Probably an initramfs that doesn't include the right modules.

Expected behavior: When a new kernel is installed it figures out the
correct modules it needs to boot the system.
