Laptop doesn't recognize monitor since 6.8.0-71

Bug description:
I am running Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS on the laptop Lenovo Legion 5 15IAH7,
and connected to an external monitor via HDMI.
Since upgrading to the 6.8.0-71 kernel, it stopped recognizing the monitor.
6.8.0-64 works fine.
6.8.0-78 doesn't work.
Possibly related Ask Ubuntu question, even though rolling back to the older
Linux version didn't fix their problem:
