  Hi,

I'm running Ubuntu 24.04. After a recent kernel upgrade to
6.14.0-28.28~24.04.1 I've noticed that after the system is resumed from
hibernate, the display doesn't go into standby. It goes there briefly,
but then immediately wakes up showing black screen.

In the logs I can see the following message every time this is
  attempted:

[drm:parse_edid_cea_dmub.constprop.0 [amdgpu]] *ERROR* EDID CEA parser
  failed

- I've checked old logs, this message never appeared before. Downgrading
- to 6.14.0-27.27~24.04.1 appears to fix the problem.
