Title:
BCM57416 NIC down post upgrade to 24.04.2 LTS, while downloading

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in linux-firmware package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
On one of our Supermicro server we have below two port NIC, which is
connected to local network/internet:
  pci@0000:4b:00.0 ens3f0np0 network BCM57416 NetXtreme-E
Dual-Media 10G RDMA Ethernet Controller
  pci@0000:4b:00.1 ens3f1np1 network BCM57416 NetXtreme-E
Dual-Media 10G RDMA Ethernet Controller

It was working fine, without any issue on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Post upgrade to
Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS we observe that whenever we try to download something below
message appears on screen:
  bnxt_en 0000:4b:00.1 ens3f1np1: NIC Link is Down

After this file download is stuck, and NIC comes up in a few seconds,
and file transfer resumes. After few seconds again (sometime after a
minute or so), same message appears again. And again, we observe that
NIC has come up, but it never gets IP (no DHCP Discover, or any
communication is seen outwards). We tried assigning manual IP still we
cannot reach it. It seems, firmware itself is doing some problem and
physical communication breaks in link level.

Nothing is seen in kernel logs other than NIC down and up events. I'll
attach output screenshots anyway. Also, in logs you will see that I'm
using RT Kernel, but it was coming consistently on generic kernel too,
post that we upgraded to RT for our work.

We tried searching, firmware/driver updates for this, on Broadcom website,
but there isn't none. It seems Linux firmware needs update.
