Title:
mt7925e driver is unstable on 6GHz network

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
UniFi APs setup at home, with WiFi 6E AP right above the laptop and
WiFi7 in another room. Previous laptop was ThinkPad P14s Gen2 with an
Intel AX210 swap and was 100% solid.

Migrated (copied disks) the system to a new ThinkPad P14s Gen6 AMD
that comes with a MediaTek chip, reporting as "c2:00.0 Network
controller: MEDIATEK Corp. Device 7925", with the mt7925e driver
  taking care.

  Using 25.04:
   - the latest stable kernel was delivering poor wifi performances, barely
200Mbits, and IPv6 was broken
   - using plucky-proposed kernel (6.14.0-26-generic), wifi performances
improved (800Mbits over 5GHz/80MHz) and IPv6 was fixed
   - 6GHz was not visible, "iw reg get" would report FR but cfg80211 would
report WORLD
   - forcing modprobe with "options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom=FR" I get 6Ghz
working, and decent speed (1.25Gbits up / 1.5 Gbits down) with iperf3

However on a regular basis (10-15 min, sometime less) WiFi link is
lost for one second and dmesg reflects:

  juil. 25 09:50:59 portable-alex kernel: wlp194s0: Connection to AP

From there it disconnects from the 6Ghz frequency, and quickly
recovers to a 5.2GHz and then a few minutes laters, it goes back to
  the 6GHz frequency:

I am not sure if the "CTRL-EVENT-REGDOM-CHANGE" messages are a symptom
of why it looses the link, or a consequence.

This is resulting in a not so good experience, with the network being
fast enough and then suddenly slow a bit then goes back better.
