One more thing. Can you please try with amd_iommu=off on the kernel command line?

When resuming from sleep, the screen remains black and the system becomes unresponsive, requiring a hard reboot. Steps to reproduce: 1- Close the lid or choose “Suspend” from the power menu. 2- Wait until the system fully sleeps. 3- Try to wake using keyboard, touchpad, or power button. 4- The fans spin up but the screen stays off and system doesn’t respond. Expected: System should resume from suspend normally. Actual: Black screen, no response, hard power-off needed. Debugging tried: 1- Verified current sleep mode → cat /sys/power/mem_sleep → output: [s2idle] 2- Tried adding kernel parameter: mem_sleep_default=deep → no effect 3- BIOS version: FA506NFR.304 (Jan 2025) 4- Kernel version: 6.14.0-33-generic 5- Ubuntu version: 24.04.3 LTS 6- Secure Boot: Enabled (also tested disabled → no change) 7- NVIDIA drivers uninstalled → issue persists (so unrelated to GPU) 8- BIOS doesn’t expose S3 sleep option. Additional info: This seems related to ACPI / s2idle sleep mode on Ryzen laptops. Many Asus TUF users report identical issues — forcing “deep” mode (S3) is ignored. Please advise if S3 is blocked at firmware level or requires kernel parameter updates.
