In the log it's observed: snd_hda_intel 0000:02:00.6: Skipping the device on the denylist This was because of commit df42ee7 ("ALSA: hda: Add ASRock X670E Taichi to denylist"). Reverting this commit allows the microphone and headphones to work again. As at least some combinations of this motherboard do have applicable devices, revert so that they can be probed. https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/ee8f1613596ad44c7cff4805d65a8a705998db11 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2121964/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
