While I am using an APT cache, this does not seem to be a cache
problem. When I open the Packages file in
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy-security/main/binary-
amd64/Packages.gz , I see that the linux-firmware package is at
version 20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.40 and that it should reside in
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux-firmware/linux-
firmware_20220329.git681281e4-0ubuntu3.40_all.deb . However, that path
returns 404 for me even in a web browser. The linux-firmware directory
returns 404 for me as well. I get a result only after stripping the
path to http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/ .
Interestingly, the directory listing shows linux-firmware, but when I
click on it I get 404 again.
