After the recent upgrade to the 3.13.0-34 kernel the touchpad on the HP
Chromebook 14 with Ubuntu 14.04 installed via chrubuntu no longer works.
By booting up with the previous version of the kernel which is
3.13.0-32, the touch pad works fine.
$ lsb_release -rd

With version 3.13.0-32 lshw returns the following for the serial ports:
