Title:
  Thinkpad T510 TouchPad/TrackPoint not working.

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Trackpad, associated buttons, and trackpoint are not working on my Lenovo
Thinkpad T510.
I have the 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed and so far everything else seems
to work fine.
This is a fresh install on a brand new hard drive.

A wireless mouse connected through USB port functions normally.

  When using the terminal command:

  cat /proc/bus/input/devices

Nothing resembling the touchpad nor the trackpoint show up in the
  listing.

  Solution?
