Title:
screen brightness setting no long works
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
System is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. The screen brightness on my pc with
ubuntu used to work, until the auto updates that were made today.
When I restarted after the updates, the screen went back to being at
the highest brightness setting. When I tried to change it, the screen
flickers from dark to bright constantly, then freezes with the
flickering continuing. I tried it three times after rebooting each
time, and got the same result each time.
