Title:
Can't Boot 12.10 live USB on MacBook Air

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I've downloaded Ubuntu 12.10 and followed this official how-to in
order to make a bootable USB drive:

  http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/create-a-usb-stick-on-mac-osx

But unfortunately, my Mac doesn't seem to recognise the USB drive.
Holding the option key and starting my MacBook Air, I get no option
for Ubuntu / USB drive, but only one for HD and one for Recovery.

However, I can boot the same USB drive on other computers.
