Title:
Have to use nomodeset in live cd
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Hello,
Whenever I try to boot from a flash drive,or live cd,in 14.04,I have to use
the nomodeset option. This is my graphics card: NVIDIA Corporation G72 [GeForce
7300 LE]. At the moment i am using 12.04. I do not have this problem with a
12.04 or 13.10 live cd.
If I install nvidia proprietary driver 304 when running from a flash
drive,the problem goes away.
Thanks for all your help,
Sydney Dykstra
