I began using chromium and I thought my slow browser problems were over but they began in it as well. I noticed leaving the computer on overnight with open tabs causes to run much slower by morning. Today i ran ClamTK and found over a dozen exploits, the same ones, recurring, in both chromium and firefox, and while I can delete them or quarantine them, it's only a short-term fix, they do come back. I'm quite certain now that my system is being attacked and while their apps may/or may not execute, my system performance is compromised/degraded. I would very much like to learn how to remove this recurring infection.
