Hi All! I am trying to install dragonfly on the HD but I consistently get the following error: no suitable disk (IDE / SCSI) found on the system.
Consequently I booted the DragonFly in verbose mode and notice the following! atapci0: <Intel ICH7 ATA controller> [tentative] port 0x1810-0x181f,0-0x3,0-0x7,0-0x3,0-0x7 at device 31.1 on pci0 ata0: iobase=0x01f0 altiobase=0x03f6 bmaddr=0x1810 ata0: mask=03 ostat0=50 ostat2=00 ata0-master: ATAPI 14 eb ata0-slave: ATAPI 00 00 ata0: mask=03 stat0=00 stat1=00 ata0: devices=04 ata0.atapci0.pci0.pcib0.legacypci0.nexus0.root0 ata0 [tentative]: at 0x1f0 irq 14 on atapci0 ata0 [attached!]: at 0x1f0 irq 14 on atapci0 ata1: iobase=0x0170 altiobase=0x0376 bmaddr=0x1818 ata1.atapci0.pci0.pcib0.legacypci0.nexus0.root0 ata1 [tentative]: at 0x170 irq 15 on atapci0 ata1 [attached!]: at 0x170 irq 15 on atapci0 atapci0: <Intel ICH7 ATA controller> [attached!] port 0x1810-0x181f,0-0x3,0-0x7,0-0x3,0-0x7 at device 31.1 on pci0 pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x8086, dev=0x27c5) at 31.2 irq 11 pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x8086, dev=0x27da) at 31.3 irq 11 Device 31, function 1 is a SATA controller - notice no memory mapped addresses. Also I am attaching the detailed dmesg and pciconf -lv output herein. Does NATA solve this problem? Cheers kmb -- Something is wrong up on cloud # 9!
