    I really have no idea re: this.  Suspension in general is not well
    supported by any of the BSDs.

If the BIOS can alter 'stuff' out of site of the OS it is parking, what does the existence of such a 'feature' do to a(ny) security model?

Seems to at least beg creating the option of setting a flag to specifically *prevent* suspend-to-disk/hibernation (and/or force a reboot on wake-up).

Just because one is paranoid....  etc
