Google Summer of Code applications are supposed to all be matched up by the 18th, tomorrow. On the 21st (Monday), Google will announce which projects are funded.
Preliminary numbers indicate we should get 7 'slots'. This number's not final until the 21st, but I'm pretty confident it won't shrink. There's a lot of competition for space this year, so that number is actually pretty high. So, yay us! We'll know more by the 21st.
