The release schedule is to release approximately two weeks from today. As Simon says, fixes should continue to be committed to the master branch. Simon and/or I will merge them into the release branch and I will do the needed release engineering on the release branch to adjust the version info, etc.
master is in soft-freeze for the next week and a half. Only commits that we want to get into release should be made to master. When we get closer to the actual release near the end of next week the master branch will be unfrozen. I will adjust version information in the release branch tomorrow (Wednesday) so bulk builders can get the builds started and so we can get the nrelease builds cleaned up and fully operational. We will need a pkgsrc base to work from. Hasso, what do you suggest? -Matt
