Understood. BTW, re: speed problems: should I start the
enviroment/intern stuff for the native code access, or will you be able to
handle that later this week? I think it'd be the singles easiest/largest
speed jump we could generate, especialling with an efficient hash. (I'll
need to re-read the JNI manual to see exactly what data we'd be hashing,
but anyway...) I'd prefer to keep slogging away at interp.cc's exception
handling over here.
