Hello Thomas; thomas olausson wrote: > Has anyone installed JOS for a StrongARM platform? Is this for a StrongARM running Linux (Netwinder?? Or is that a vanilla ARM part?), or for a bare-iron platform? Either way, you'd have to make a 3rd (we've got 2 now) "arch" target. The real trick for bare-iron is getting both the program and zipfile-ramdisk into memory. It calls for a studly bootloader... Let me know what we can do to help... I am a real fan of the ARM architecture in general, and the StrongARM in particular (how many MIPS/Watt again?). -jm -- ==== John Morrison ==== MaK Technologies Inc. ==== 185 Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge, MA 02138 ==== http://www.mak.com/welcome.html ==== vox:617-876-8085 x115 ==== fax:617-876-9208 ==== [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Kernel maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jos.org/mailman/listinfo/kernel
