Either way, you'd have to make a 3rd (we've got 2 now) "arch" target. 
The real trick for bare-iron is getting both the program and
zipfile-ramdisk into memory.  It calls for a studly bootloader...

Let me know what we can do to help...  I am a real fan of the ARM
architecture in general, and the StrongARM in particular (how many
MIPS/Watt again?).
