I had the same problem, cause I did the checkout to a VFAT Partition (I
used jcvs on NT4.0);
if you use cvs on a linux system and save it onto an ext2fs partition,
it should work fine (at least it has for me);
just as a precaution:
after I had succesfully built JJOS, I had some trouble running it,
it worked after I added the file /JJOS/arch/host/bytecode/jos_common.zip (I
hope thats the correct name) to the $CLASSPATH;
this worked for me;
after that you can start programs with "jjos appname"
(you can only run .classes that are inside that zip file (the init program,
that performs some test is inside that file), if you want to try some own
code, you have to add it to the zip file);
