        Right now, JOS is alive, but moving very slowly.  I simply don't
have the time to push the JVM/kernel along any faster than I am, and the
code is still too incomplete for a snowball effect to take place.  (That
is, JOS has not yet integrated classpath, so a library support is very
thing on the ground, and virtually all of the rest of the code will be in 
Java...)  *sigh*
