The JOS boot-from-floppy is either (a) an etherboot floppy which
then needs a bootp server or (b) a GRUB boot-floppy which means you'd need
to learn GRUB.  My understanding is that a GRUB boot-floppy is not too
hard to make.  While the JOS kernel/JVM will fit on a floppy, the class
library is simply much too large...
