Avery, Corrado, is the message the GC count from heapGC() in heap.c?
This reads
*** Starting gc #00000001 ***
or
*** Finished gc #00000001 ***
with count going up by one for each gc.
I don't believe that this is the case. I only see one message something
like:
********** 000000009 ********
This is the only message given after the decaf constructor returns and some
init method (I think, I don't have the code in front of me) is run.
Do you have the 1.2 branch of the markstack.c code from CVS - this
is correct (it has duff code #ifdef NOTDEF'd out)? The 1.1.1.1 branch (by
anonymous! what's going on here?)contains old and incorrect code. Also, how
much memory do your machines have?
-- George
I just do a pure cvs update. Whatever is given me by that is what I have.
If we could get the 1.2 branch made the main branch that would be helpful.
My machine has 128 Mb of memory, so I don't think I'm running out that
quick. :)
