And also, have in mind that a swappable disk does not mean an altogether
change of device, e?

Consider the following:


device:zipdrive:scsi://localhost/bus/scsi/6/attached

and

device:zipdrive:scsi//localhost/bus/scsi/6/attached/disk


The first URI points to the Zip drive itself, the second to the disk
*inside* the Zip drive.

Both should be accessed separately, if so desired. Otherwise, the object
SCSIZipDrive could have a method isMounted() as part of a MountableMedia
interface.
