We are going to do so soon.  Because of the massive re-org of the 
code during the rewrites, I think we had decided to hold off until the 
sources stabilize a bit.  Then check in the code "fresh" and start 
with a clean cvs tree.  

If the code is at that point now, let me know. I've already got the jos 
project opened at SourceForge and basically just need to add the 
core developers to the developers list for the project so they can 
start commiting files to cvs.

I think we'll be keeping the list of core developers very small.  
SourceForge has a nice feature which allows other developers to 
submit patches to a Patch Manager where the core developers can 
review patches, and commit them to the main cvs source 
repository.  So many can contribute, but the chaos is kept to a 
minimum.
