It depends, among other things, on the MTU of your interface, the amount of memory you have for buffers, the amount of memory at the other end, and a few other things. Did you try googling for 'TCP MSS' before posting here? The first hit is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximum_segment_size
