As you know，4.x version is so complex. And it‘s difficult to read the source code for newbies like me.
Of course one of the most important reasons is that I am reading 《UNDERSTANDING THE LINUX KERNEL》 :) And it’s for 2.6.11 version. I am thinking about build a environment to practice. Why are you trying to build 2.6.11 if you have 4.16 available? That dates to June 2005, and is only of interest to software archaeologists.
