Hi all, I wanted to know whether a program compiled in linux will run in windows.
I wrote a simple code which just returns a number from main and didnt make use of any library calls but even that program didnt run in windows. Whats the difference between a c program compiled in linux and windows? Why it doesnt work ? Guess it should be something to do with the way the code is loaded in to the CPU. But i couldnt reach the expedient literature with my searches please explain or point me to some good explanations Regards Deepak
