if you download the cfe firmware, and look into the vgainit.c file, you
will find an example of using x86emu:
http://www.broadcom.com/products/communications_processors_downloads.php

the emulator itself is in cfe/x86emu.

what firmware are you using and can you modify it to add x86emu?
