I think no. AFAIK, number of inodes just tell you how many file you can make (since one inode represents the metadata of a file). However, IMO, depending on average file size you will create there, having more inodes doesn't mean you can cram more files into your tmpfs based directory. So it's more like balancing between inodes, predicted number of file and storage size. By default, mount do this for you.
