I don't remember if it was stated on this list before, but ohsm
(online hierarchical storage manager) project which semi consumed this
mailing list in Jan / Feb. was invited to submit a paper for OLS 2009.
 I certainly found it an interesting project and am now an active
member of the project team.

Further, due to travel issues, I was chosen to do the presentation at
OLS.  You can find the presentation at:
