Thanks for fixing this Bob.  I merged in your changes to the 
ia64-lite.patch and I sent some mail to AKPM to remove the ia64 disable 
patch from the -mm tree.

There is a linux2_6_23_uprev branch in the cvs server which feeds 
everything over to the for_mm branch on kernel.org which is how the kgdb 
patches make it into the -mm tree.
