Unfortunately, it's broken -- CONFIG_PPC is defined by both arch/ppc/ and
arch/powerpc kernels and it enabled different code basing on that... :-(

I have no idea how it managed to work in arch/powerpc/ for me -- now the
kernel doesn't link... :-<
