I'll go with your implementation which according to the instruction manual is the right way. This particular function doesn't really get exercised with out the arch specific hardware or software single stepping code, which is not a part of this series at the moment. This fix and the other fix you asked about are both in kgdb-next which feeds into linux-next, if you are ultimately ok with the changes, I'll add an ack from you as well. Hopefully there is enough time to get the kdb shape for the next kernel merge window. http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/jwessel/linux-2.6-kgdb.git;a=commitdiff;h=ed088ec6e6e7e245c060d068d333648eff06dd4b and http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/jwessel/linux-2.6-kgdb.git;a=commitdiff;h=c5dc61eb8d1c347ff3eadc1bccae07437d85779a Thanks, Jason. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Kgdb-bugreport mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kgdb-bugreport
