The mutex-hack patch was dropped in preparation for the merge.  The
atomic pipe set path needs cleanup, but we need to get kdb core merge
completed first.

Jesse and David have requested that we get the kdb core merged, and then
coordinate the next phase with the dri-devel mailing list.  That means
we'll know more in just a few days depending on how it goes with the
pull request for kdb.

The mutex hacks patch and such will all get brought back for submission
to the dri-devel, because that is the where the work in progress will
turn into something that is no longer a hack.

I am happy to take your patches however and integrate them into the
hacks patch so we have a "consolidated hack".

I can make another branch which has the set of full kms patches for you
to continue your activities as soon as the kdb pull activities are done.
